Dear Colleagues-
 
It is with distinct pleasure that I inform you that Early Academic
Development Programs (EADP) is the successful recipient of a GEAR UP
grant to serve the Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) (over
$800,000/year for four to possibly six years).  Specifically, EADP will
be offering additional support to PUSD students by providing, via
university students, tutoring during class time, after school, and on
weekends in math and language arts.  The five schools to be serviced are
as follows:
 
Fremont Middle School
Marshall Middle School
Simons Middle School
Ganesha Middle School
Garey Senior High School
 
I would like to acknowledge the authors of this grant: Frances Calvin,
Alicia Velazquez, Kenyatta Greer, and Terrie Boudreaux.  A job well
done!!!  Please join me in congratulating all of the staff of Early
Academic Development Programs on this honorable accomplishment!!
