with distinct pleasure that I inform you that <STRONG>Early Academic Development
Programs (EADP)</STRONG> is the successful recipient of a <STRONG>GEAR UP
grant</STRONG> to serve the Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) (over
$800,000/year for four to possibly six years). Specifically, EADP will be
offering additional support to PUSD students by providing,
via university students, tutoring during class time, after school, and on
weekends in math and language arts. The five schools to be serviced are as
