Automated some validations previously done manually by UCPath.  Based on this change, three new error messages may display on the inbound error reports (E-010):
~ Shift differential code is not valid for employees' position.
~ Earnings not within a valid available pay calendar.
~ Use applicable earnings begin and end dates by PPE week (for BW) or PPE month (for MO).

·         The 2019-20 and 2020-21 summer salary IRC limits have been updated in UCPath and a process is now in place to ensure the limits are updated each year.  There is also an effort underway to identify academic appointees who did not get sufficient contributions to their 403(b) accounts because the limits were set too low.

·         Effective February 13, 2021, time files (I-181) and flat amount files (I-618) submitted through UCPath self-service pages will display on the Interface Dashboard

·         Effective February 16, 2021 time files (I-181) and flat amount files (I-618) submitted through UCPath online self-service pages will require additional fields (Pay Cycle and File Description) to ensure the files adhere to the new standard naming conventions

·         Training: UCPath updated the following training materials:

o   Payroll (PAYL200: Additional Compensation and Payroll Requests):

o   Job Aid: E-010 Location Error Reporting Resolution Guide

§  Added new  I-181, I-618 and E-353 shift differential and earnings end date validation error messages

The following simulations were updated to reflect that payout Earn Codes should be used, not dummy codes:
