[Gradstudents] Graduate Student Council Meeting Notes

Dear GSOE Graduate Students,

Please find the message below from your fellow graduate student colleagues.

Hello Students!

Elissa Monteiro and Steve Reyes are your new Graduate Student Council Reps for 2020-2021. We will be the liaison between you and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) each month at the Graduate Student Council meetings. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions/ concerns you have that you would like us to communicate for you.

There is a lot of information attached, please pay special attention to:

  *   The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) proposed a rule change affecting Graduate Students. Please sign the petition<https://actionnetwork.org/letters/submit-a-comment-to-dhs-in-support-of-international-students%20> posted by UAW on the DHS rules.
  *   Prop 15: Link to our union Voter Phonebank every Sunday from 2-4 pm: https://forms.gle/oA48LM8Kn6DsbtYc6
