Use your art to strengthen sustainable development in Honduras

[image: ArtCorps Logo]Calling all performance and visual artists: ArtCorps
has a special immediate opportunity for the right artist!

ArtCorps seeks one artist to use his/her artistic talent to strengthen
sustainable development at Pico Bonito National Park on the northern coast
of Honduras.

The project will begin as soon as possible and end in December 2009.

The artist will:

   - Work directly with Bosques Pico Bonito, an innovative social enterprise
   that works toward solving the global climate change crisis through the
   production of carbon offsets.
   - Use the arts to raise awareness about the environment, as well as to
   promote productive and cooperative relationships between community members
   and Bosques Pico Bonito.
   - Work as a volunteer and reside in the national park area for the
   duration of the project.
   - All work, living and international travel expenses will be paid for by
   ArtCorps and Bosques Pico Bonito.

To qualify, artists must be proficient in Spanish and have community arts
experience. Knowledge of environmental work is preferred. Contact Marta
