<br>ArtCorps seeks one artist to use his/her artistic talent to strengthen sustainable development at Pico Bonito National Park on the northern coast of Honduras.<br><br>The project will begin as soon as possible and end in December 2009. <br>
<br>The artist will: <ul><li>Work directly with Bosques Pico Bonito, an innovative social enterprise that works toward solving the global climate change crisis through the production of carbon offsets. </li><li>Use the arts to raise awareness about the environment, as well as to promote productive and cooperative relationships between community members and Bosques Pico Bonito.</li>
<li>Work as a volunteer and reside in the national park area for the duration of the project.</li><li>All work, living and international travel expenses will be paid for by ArtCorps and Bosques Pico Bonito.</li></ul> To qualify, artists must be proficient in Spanish and have community arts experience.
