Hi Prof. Lutz,
   How are you? My name is Joseph Reynolds. I’m a novelist and the director
of The Sancho Panza Literary Society, which holds 10 day writer’s
residencies at Trinity College Dublin each May and June. We returned to
Dublin this year after two years of pandemic exile, and the cohorts
exceeded my wildest dreams-we had grad students, alums, a few undergrads,
and even some faculty writers from more than a dozen universities and the
work was phenomenal ( I’ve invited many of them to join our lit magazine as
contributing editors). I have a deep admiration for your program and as I
now begin the process of organizing our 2023 cohorts, it would be a
privilege to include your students; they’d join people from Emerson, Yale,
Florida, Houston, Williams, Washington and Lee, UConn, George Mason,
Cornell, Ohio State and Amherst among others.
     The full info sheet and sample itinerary is attached. Everyone gets
two chances to submit and there is an end of session reading event. We also
attend plays at The Abbey, Gate, and Smock Alley Theatres, visit Howth and
The Irish Sea, Galway, The Dublin Writers Museum and national art gallery,
among other excursions. Thanks again.
