"Evidence of Excellence: Strategies and Tools for Continuous Program
Improvement"

Wednesday, March 14, 2007
2:00-3:00 p.m.
Sproul Hall 1215
(Education Conference Room)

In order to establish and maintain high quality standards, it is
essential for teacher education programs to provide empirical
evidence of effectiveness based on articulated principles of
excellence for teacher preparation programs (Teacher Education
Accreditation Council, 2007). Our challenge in this quest is to
garner and integrate information from multiple stakeholders, and to
analyze this manifold data in ways that effect positive program
change, improve program administration, and inform the field of
educational research. This presentation will introduce some of the
ways that technology can be used to address this challenge
effectively and to support the compatible goals of continuous program
improvement and growth.
