Attention Graduating Seniors:

Please note the information regarding 
Commencement tickets and deadlines for Spring 
2007 Commencement ceremonies below.

Commencement ceremonies for bachelor’s degree 
candidates will be held Friday, June 15 through 
Sunday, June 17, on the Pierce Lawn.  Tickets are 
required for entrance to these ceremonies.  The 
schedule of ceremonies and additional information 
regarding Commencement 2007 is available on-line 
at the Commencement Web 
site:  <http://www.commencement.ucr.edu/>www.commencement.ucr.edu.

Upcoming Deadlines for Bachelor’s Degree candidates

You need to have completed the appropriate 
paperwork on time, and received approval from 
your College in order to participate in 
Commencement. For specific eligibility 
information and application deadlines contact your Student Affairs Officer.

MARCH 15
Last day for Spring 2007 candidates to file an 
Application for Graduation form with their 
College to receive a Spring 2007 graduation date.

APRIL 20
Last day for candidates who wish to walk but are 
not planning to graduate until Summer 2007 to 
file an Application for Graduation form with 
their respective College if they wish to have 
their name listed in the Commencement Program 
book, and be eligible for the maximum number of guest tickets.

MAY 8 – 15
Not all students who graduate choose to walk at 
Commencement. In order to ensure adequate seating 
for you and your guests, all eligible students 
who plan to attend must confirm their “Intent to 
Participate” with the Office of Event Management 
via the Commencement website MAY 8 – MAY 15.  At 
this time, you will be able to review your degree 
information as it will be published in the 
Commencement Program book, order your 
Commencement tickets and let us know how you wish 
to have your name read at the ceremony.

GRAD FAIR
May 8 – 10, PE Building Gymnasium
The one-stop shop for all of your graduation needs.
Tuesday, May 8, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday, May 9, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Thursday, May 10, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Want to Sing at Commencement?
Commencement Singer auditions will be held in 
April. If you are an excellent singer, and wish 
to audition to sing at Commencement, please 
contact Evelyn Starr in the Office of Event 
Management, no later than March 23, (951) 827-3144.

website periodically for updates and new information.
