February Wellness Webinars

Community service builds a culture of community and builds awareness around the needs of your community. Hopefully this past week we got to out in the community and do something for other. Whether it was words of affirmation or something tangible, it makes us a better socially responsible person. Join on to learn how to align your passions and interests with socially responsible activities that will better yourself and the community.

With the new year comes new goals. It is no secret up to 80-percent of resolutions will fail by the second week of February. It is easy to focus on outcome instead of small changes. If we can focus on the smaller victories, before you know it, we will see the big outcomes. Join the Wellness Program and the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program, CommPsych, to learn ways to increase self-control and ways to increase motivation to create behavior change.

Being a socially responsible person: Social responsibility is about acting in ways that benefit others or the larger society. When we engage in social behavior, we often feel happier, increase our social circle and feel more connected to a greater community. In this seminar we will examine the benefits of being a socially responsible individual and explore some ways to increase social responsibility.
