Thank you to all those who are participating in this year's Giving Tuesday. Reminder, project page submissions are due today! Please review the information below.

Good afternoon Colleagues,



Happy Tuesday! The Office of Annual Giving (AG) would like to share a few updates related to your Giving Tuesday (GT) project pages, upcoming happy hours, and our Microsoft Teams Giving Tuesday Hub! Please see below for more details.



Project Pages:

  *   Project page submissions are due today! If you haven't submitted your GT project page idea yet, please go to Giving Tuesday Project Page Submission Form<https://dayofgiving.ucr.edu/o/university-of-california-riverside/i/university-of-california-riverside-day-of-giving-idea> to submit your project page.
     *   Once we approve and activate your project pages, you will be granted access to the Community Funded platform, so you can start building your pages!

  1.  If you would like to grant additional individuals access to your project page(s), please send me (marianne.paek at ucr.edu<mailto:marianne.paek at ucr.edu>) a separate email with the title of the project page and include the individuals' names and email addresses.
  2.  AG will need time to review your project page content, so your page content must be finalized and submitted for review no later than Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
     *   Please ensure that you adhere to UCOMM's branding guidelines<https://brand.ucr.edu/platform/document/ucr-brand-book> and that you check your content for any grammatical errors.



Giving Tuesday Virtual Happy Hours:

AG will be hosting virtual happy hours for any inquiries regarding setting up project pages, recruiting ambassadors, and offering any other "help desk" services. Calendar invites will follow for the dates listed below:

  *   Thursday, 10/21/21 at 3 PM
  *   Wednesday, 10/27/21 at 2 PM
  *   Friday, 10/29/21 at 11 AM
  *   Monday, 11/1/21 at 3 PM
  *   Wednesday, 11/3/21 at 2 PM



Microsoft Teams Giving Tuesday Hub:
AG would like to announce the return of our Microsoft Teams Giving Tuesday Hub! We received excellent feedback from you about how helpful the hub was last GT, so we're making it a permanent addition. As a reminder, the hub will help streamline GT communications and distribute GT marketing materials. We encourage you to use the hub as your one-stop shop for all things Giving Tuesday!

  *   Please note, all UCR computers come with Microsoft software pre-installed, which includes Microsoft Teams. However, if you're already using the Microsoft Teams platform, the link should open up the Giving Tuesday 2021 Hub.

There will be five channels within the Microsoft Teams Giving Tuesday 2021 Hub, all serving a different purpose:

  *   General - this channel will be for any general Giving Tuesday discussion. You can use this to share your GT updates and ideas with our colleagues.
  *   GT Announcements - this channel will be used by the AG team to post announcements related to Giving Tuesday.
  *   GT Annual Giving Emails - any emails that Annual Giving sends through Outlook will be stored in this channel for your reference.
  *   GT Marketing Resources - in this channel, we will post Giving Tuesday files and resources that can be used for marketing. This will include social media bugs and other graphic elements.
  *   GT Questions and FAQs - you can use this channel to post your Giving Tuesday questions. It's possible that someone has already asked the question you're looking for, so you can utilize the search bar using keywords or phrases. If you prefer to email Annual Giving a question separately, please contact us at ag at ucr.edu<mailto:ag at ucr.edu>.
     *   The AG team will check the Giving Tuesday 2021 Hub once in the morning and afternoon to respond to any questions.

We highly encourage you to utilize this resource as your go-to information resource platform for Giving Tuesday! Please feel free to reach out to the AG team at ag at ucr.edu<mailto:ag at ucr.edu> if you have questions, or even better, reach out to us on Microsoft Teams. Remember, we are here to help answer questions, assist with your project pages, and provide customer service to all campus partners who wish to participate in #GivingTueUCR!
