Dear UCR Emeriti Association (UCREA) Members,

Giving Tuesday is tomorrow and the UCREA leadership team would like to share that the UCR Retirees' and Emeriti Association Giving Day webpage is open and ready to receive gifts for this year's Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022. To celebrate this day of generosity, we are highlighting the UCREA Graduate Student Travel Award in order to fund two or more graduate students with a travel award needed to attend a professional meeting or to pursue scholarly activities at other institutions and/or research sites.

This year's Giving Tuesday has a focus to raise funds in support of students, research, and programs at UCR and supporting the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award is one important way to contribute to UCR's giving efforts. Thanks to UCR emeriti and the campus community, the UCREA awarded the first 2021-2022 Graduate Student Travel Award to graduate student Rebecca Kurtz-Garcia in Spring 2022.
