Dear UCR Emeriti Association (UCREA) Members,

The UCREA leadership team is delighted to come together with fellow emeriti to celebrate this giving day of generosity in light of the UCREA Graduate Student Travel Award. Your generous contribution will support the collective effort of funding two or more graduate students with a travel award needed to attend a professional meeting or to pursue scholarly activities at other institutions and/or research sites.

Your contributions today to the UCR Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Award will directly impact the 2022-2023 UCREA Graduate Student Travel Award recipient who is currently being selected in partnership with the UCR Emeriti Association leadership and UCR Graduate Division. However, it does not stop there. Thanks to the countless contributions from the UCR emeriti and campus community, the UCREA Executive Board voted at its November meeting to begin awarding two Emeriti Association Graduate Student Travel Awards every year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring.

This forward movement would not be possible without your generosity. Gifts of any amount are welcomed and make a meaningful difference.
