Aflac Supplemental Health Plan Conversion Project Complete

The UCPath Center announced the project to transition administration of the Supplemental Health Plans (Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity) from the Aflac platform to the UCPath system was completed on September 1, 2022.

You may recall, employees were previously enrolled into these plans using Aflac's enrollment portal.  All enrollment records have been converted from Aflac's system to UCPath, and new benefit tiles have been built to show current enrollment elections, covered dependents, and premium costs.  Going forward, all new enrollments and requests for coverage changes for these plans will be made in UCPath - making the process easier for faculty and staff.

A communication (sample attached) has been sent from UCPath to all employees currently enrolled in one or more of the plans with Aflac.  The communication will advise of the administration change and provide instructions on how to review their enrollment records in the UCPath system.  It also provides instructions for creating an inquiry with UCPath to report discrepancies if the enrollment records appear to be inaccurate.
