HealthEquity - Enhanced Login Experience Coming at the End of July 2021
HealthEquity will be deploying a new landing page that will contain the latest security protocols when logging in to the website (https://learn.healthequity.com/uc/hsa/). Depending on the platform used, participants may be asked to update and verify their credentials which may include the following: phone number [1], username, e-mail address and, security question and answer.

   * Members using Single Sign-On (SSO) to enter the platform will not be required to make any changes nor authenticate.

   * Members choosing to access platforms by way of direct login will be asked to authenticate through a Third-Party Authentication (TPA) at the first time logging in after launch - view the flow described in the HealthEquity Single Login Page Experience<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-07/healthequity-single-login-page-experience-as-of-06-28-2021.pdf>.

   * Members with both e-mail and phone number on the platform must "Re-Remember their device" which is consistent with current process.

Beyond the increased security, it is hoped that the enhanced login process will lead to greater satisfaction and more efficient utilization. The HealthEquity Single Login Page Experience<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm656/files/2021-07/healthequity-single-login-page-experience-as-of-06-28-2021.pdf> is a guide with "multi-factor authentication" and "self-serve" sections for user assistance with username and password access.

[1] For login purposes, a phone number is required in order to receive a verification code by text or recorded voice. The phone number must be directly accessible by you and cannot be a phone number with an extension, or a number that is answered by an automated calling tree. Either a mobile phone or land line is acceptable.
