The University of California, Riverside (UCR) is recruiting for a Circulation and Reserve Services Supervisor (Library Supervisor 2).

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of the Circulation/Reserve Services Unit within the Access Services Department. The Supervisor acts as the functional expert in overseeing and managing employees performing complex duties requiring point of contact decision making. The Supervisor is responsible for exercising judgment in interpreting existing guidelines to solve problems and optimize systems to support developing patron needs. The Supervisor is also responsible for developing and implementing policies at a unit level and for advising leadership on recommended guidelines and policies that affect the wider library. The Supervisor is responsible for the unit staff and student supervision, training, development and performance of the unit. Responsible for collaborating, setting goals, ensuring accountability and stewardship of the unit.
