[Campus Notice] Important Update on Your Doodle Service Access

Dear Colleague,

Doodle, the company behind the online meeting scheduling tool, recently
announced that they are introducing a new licensing structure. The Doodle
Pro Plan, which you are currently using, is going away on November 30, 2026.
If you wish to continue using Doodle, you need to create a new account by
December 1, 2026, and sign up for the free version or the Team Plan.
What This Change Means

Once the Pro Plan is discontinued, your Doodle account will be deleted. If
you would like to continue using the service, you need to create a new
account.

The only remaining plans available for individuals are the free version and
the Team Plan. Doodle strongly encourages Pro Plan users to consider
upgrading to the Team Plan, as it offers advanced features not available on
the free version. Please note that UCR Information Technology Solutions
does not offer an Enterprise Plan for the campus.

It is also important to know that the free version of Doodle is not going
away. This is a good alternative if you would like to keep using Doodle
without the extra cost.

Pro Plan is still reflected in Doodle’s website, it is set to sunset soon).
Next Steps

If you wish to continue using Doodle, you need to create a new Doodle
account. The last day you can use your current Doodle Pro Plan is November
30, 2026. You may sign up for the free version by December 1 if you would
like to keep using the service without the extra cost.

If you would like to upgrade to a Team Plan, please reach out to your
department / campus unit’s procurement team. Doodle Team Plan licenses are
purchased on a departmental basis.

Your unit’s procurement team may get in touch with UCR’s Doodle
representative, Jack Adams, at jack.adams at doodle.com, to purchase a Team
