[Campus Notice] VPN Required to Access HRDW from Off Campus Beginning April 22, 2022

Dear UCR Community,
Please be advised of an upcoming access change to the Human Resources /
Academic Personnel Data Warehouse (HRDW) application.
*As of April 22, 2022, users must be connected to UCR’s Virtual Private
Network (VPN)

in
order to access HRDW versions one (HRDW pre-UCPath) and two (HRDW
post-UCPath). *
This critical update is needed to protect sensitive user data and comply
with UCOP security standards <https://policy.ucop.edu/doc/7000543/BFB-IS-3>.
*There should be no change to your user experience when working on campus
if you are connected to the main campus network. When working off campus,
however, you must first connect to the VPN in order to access HRDW*. Please
note that HRDW will *not *prompt you to connect to the VPN, you will simply
be unable to access the application if not connected to the VPN.
