Our Science Fiction TV Dinner series is going virtual for 2020-2021, to
help keep our community safe during the pandemic. We’re shifting the format
slightly, presenting Science Fiction TV Small Bites: short films from
talented creators that invite us to explore a range of possible futures.

Our first Small Bite is *A Love Letter to the Ancestors from Chicago*, an
Afrofuturist dance film produced and directed by Ytasha Womack

We’ll screen the 14-minute film, and then have a conversation with Ytasha,
who is also the author of the book *Afrofuturism: The World of Black Sci Fi
and Fantasy Culture*, a dancer, and a novelist, and Grisha Coleman

an associate professor in ASU’s School of Arts, Media + Engineering and a
time-based artist who works in performance and experimental media.

We'll also feature an exclusive segment on cuisine and cooking by Corey S.
