[Sehefac] Sustainability Literacy Assessment

Good morning,

  I am reaching out to you in my capacity as Faculty Director of
Sustainability to encourage you to support an important campus
sustainability initiative: UCR's first sustainability literacy assessment.
This survey will serve both campus research and instructional goals, and
help UCR to improve its ASHE STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment &
Rating System) ranking. Additionally, we expect the survey to enhance
sustainability awareness and promote sustainable practices and knowledge
across campus.

  The brief (15 question) assessment is designed to gauge students'
understanding
of key sustainability and environmental concepts and processes. The survey
includes a prize raffle to incentivize students' participation.

  Would you please share this opportunity with your students? I've attached
a flyer, a slide to slip into your lecture decks, and a couple of
social media posts you may use.

  Thank you for your time and support in shaping a more sustainable future
at UC Riverside. Please let me know if you have any questions or if there
are ways we can collaborate further on this initiative.
