Hi Teaching Professor Colleagues,
Our last TPN virtual seminar series talk is coming up this *Thursday, May
28, from 2-3 PM*. Our colleague Julie Simons, Associate Professor of
Teaching in the Department of Applied Mathematics at UC Santa Cruz, will be
closing out our AY2025-2026 seminar series with her talk entitled "*Data
and reflections on genAI use in a gateway mathematics course*." I think
this will be a fascinating talk on a topic that's on many of our minds as
we consider how our students are navigating a drastically altered
educational landscape in the age of readily available AI tools.

Whether this is your first TPN seminar or you've attended every other
seminar on the calendar this year, I hope you'll consider joining us this
Thursday to help make our closing seminar this year our biggest turnout
