Last month a notification regarding an updated Mandatory Workplace Posting
was sent out.  This is a reminder that the poster needs to be posted in a
conspicuous location frequented by employees, and where the poster may be
easily read by employees during the hours of the work day.  The notice must
be posted in both English and Spanish where there are Spanish-speaking
employees. Both English and Spanish versions of the poster are attached.

 

In addition, the California Labor Code requires that all new hires be
provided with "Facts about Workers' Compensation" pamphlet.  A revised
"Facts about Workers' Compensation" pamphlet is also attached.  Due to
copyrights regulations, the pamphlet is not available on our website.
Departments can print the pamphlet from this Scotmail as needed.
