Re:         Change in Payroll check date for December 2010 earnings

This is to inform you that December 2010 payroll earnings will be dated and
paid January 3, 2011.  The University of California has traditionally dated
the first pay check of the year on January 1st, although payday is on the
first banking day after January 1.  We have been informed by the UC Office
of the President Payroll Coordination that this practice is no longer
acceptable.  Direct deposit transactions and pay checks will be made
available to employees on this date.  

 

According to Accounting Manual chapter P-196-16-5 (

all employees is on the first banking day of every month with two
exceptions: 

*        If the first of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday,
pay day will be on the last working day of the month. 
*        The first check in the New Year is available on the first banking
day after January 1st.

January 3, 2011

February 1, 2011

March 1, 2011

April 1, 2011

April 29, 2011

June 1, 2011

July 1, 2011

August 1, 2011

September 1, 2011

September 30, 2011

November 1, 2011

December 1, 2011
