[Physics-grads-open] Heather's Last Day- July 24th

Good evening,

I wanted to let you all know that Heather has decided to part ways with the department as of today 7/24/2023.  I ask that you continue to send all requests to the physicspurchandtrvl at ucr.edu<mailto:physicspurchandtrvl at ucr.edu> email address.  I am the only one processing all purchasing, travel and reimbursements.

Friday last week 7/20/23 we finally gained access to concur to start processing all reimbursements (travel and reimbursements).  There are still lots of glitches that are happening and we have a back log of reimbursements that have come in over the last few weeks during out black out period.  Please be patient and understanding,  I am processing them as quickly as possible.

Concur is now our new reimbursement portal and requires you the traveler to submit the reimbursement (we can only act on your behalf).  We may be reaching out to let you know the reimbursement is ready to be submitted.  We are also working on a replacement for Heather as well as getting some temporary help.

Good morning all,

I am writing to let you know that after 3 years in our unit, Heather will be leaving us on Friday, July 28th.

Heather has been a crucial part of our team and helped our Physics & Astronomy faculty, staff, and students with travel, purchasing and many other tasks. Heather will be missed but we wish her the best with her future endeavors. Please stop by to thank Heather for her hard work through the years with us!

We will be conducting a recruitment to hire Heather's replacement; we ask for your help and patience with our team during this time. As a reminder, we are also recruiting for the purchasing position. As a result, you may experience some delays with your requests, but we will do our best to complete them on a timely manner.
