Dear all,
I'm writing to spread the word about an event I'm hosting next Thursday,
January 15th from 12–3pm at UCR's Orbach Science Library as part of the
University of California Humanities Research Institute and Center for Ideas
and Society working groups I coordinate. Please join us for a synthesizer
petting zoo and lightning talks and demos by UC faculty--between which
you'll have a chance to play and experiment with different synthesizers!
Ian Dicke will also be giving a talk and synthesizer demos, Rory Fewer has
co-coordinated the event, and we've had tech assistance from Ian Dicke and
Bradley Butterworth (thank you all!!), so this has been a department
effort--please come and support and have a lot of fun in the process!
Here is the link to learn more about this free event--there will be
refreshments as well!
