*In this talk, Dr. Rodrigo Sigal presents a range of creative and technical
strategies for composing electroacoustic music, with a focus on mixed and
acousmatic formats. Drawing on his experience as director of Centro
Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras / Mexican Center for Music and
Sound Art (CMMAS), he will demonstrate methods for shaping timbre,
structuring processes, and articulating sound in space. Through musical
examples and visual tools, the presentation will explore how technology
becomes an integral partner in the compositional act.*
