There is a great two day conference this weekend at UC Irvine
covering digital media or new media or whatever you prefer to
term it. It has some of the premier scholars on the subject
(Lev Manovich, Mark Hansen, Rita Raley, Noah Wardrip-Fruin and
many others) speaking on Friday and Saturday and looks to be
an exceptional opportunity.
