Our thanks to Ph.D.candidate Ryan Bruellman for sharing about his research
on dollar stores as an alternative grocery source and the overall
connection between food sources and health outcomes.

Also, my special thanks to our first-time attendees - we hope that you can
join us again!

Our next meetup on February 10 will feature Kan Wang, a lecturer in the
School of Business, who will share how he approaches sparking curiosity
about spatial technology in his teaching.

In closing, I want to highlight this request for mapping assistance, also
found in the notes:
*Professor Anthony Jerry, chair of the Department of Black Study, is
seeking assistance in designing a web map for the department’s website
which would reflect faculty expertise and regional focus. Please contact
Janet if interested in creating such a map.*
