At the meetup I presented my takeaways from the Esri Education Summit and
User Conference, held in San Diego last month. Please view the slides

used in the presentation, as they contain a lot of the detail that would
typically be found in the notes, with numerous links to resources included.

Major topics included:

   - AI and GIS,
   - student workforce readiness, and
   - preparing for the introduction of new datum *(so long, NAD 83!*) in
   the Spring of 2027.


At the next meetup, on September 22, I'll present on the geospatial
resources available at UCR. This will be of most interest
to faculty, students and staff new to UCR, but of course all of you will be
welcome.
