The topic will be *Takeaways from the Esri User Conference*.


The Esri User Conference was held July 13-17, preceded by the Esri
Education Summit July 11-12. I attended sessions at both, in person; other
members of our geospatial community attended one or both events either in
person or virtually.

I will speak to takeaways from Education Summit sessions about:

* AI and GIS

* Teaching with StoryMaps

* The UCSB Guide to the Geographic Approach

* ArcGIS Governance

* Workforce Readiness

User Conference takeaways will include sessions about:

* Accessibility

* ArcGIS Pro Geoprocessing Tips & Tricks

* Spatial Interpolation using Kriging

* ArcGIS Pro: Preparing your Data for the NSRS 2022 Shift
* Experience Builder Best Practices

I'll provide access to a Google Slide deck that contains links to resources
shared by the presenters.

their takeaways also!


The meetup will start with announcements of general interest.
