</div><div><br></div><div>At the meetup I presented my takeaways from the Esri Education Summit and User Conference, held in San Diego last month. Please <a href="https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/16gt4hFxKTFd1GLcxDzAxO5EhfcakbUuik2fP4dFRBHQ/edit?usp=sharing">view the slides</a> used in the presentation, as they contain a lot of the detail that would typically be found in the notes, with numerous links to resources included. </div><div><br></div><div>Major topics included: </div><div><ul><li>AI and GIS, </li><li>student workforce readiness, and </li><li>preparing for the introduction of new datum <i>(so long, NAD 83!</i>) in the Spring of 2027.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div>At the next meetup, on September 22, I'll present on the geospatial resources available at UCR.
