[Geospatial] Opportunities: Research support at UCR; and UC GIS Week presentations

Hello all,

First, please see the attached announcement for a paid opportunity in Winter 2024 for a grad student or upper division undergrad to use GIS skills in support of wildfire risk research.

Please share with any student you know who may be interested and qualified for this position.

And, there are only a few days left to submit your idea for presenting at UC GIS Week, a virtual event taking place November 14-16.

The organizers are looking for lightning talks, panelists, presentations, posters, StoryMaps, and pre-recorded workshops.
