[Geospatial] UPDATE! GIS at UCR event with Esri - DATE CHANGED to Feb. 24

Hello again,

Shortly after sending the announcement out earlier today, I received word that the January 20 GIS @ UCR virtual event has been postponed to Wednesday, February 24, in light of potential unrest on the 20th in connection with the Presidential inauguration.

Updated event announcements will be circulated when available.

We'll look forward to the panel event on February 24!

And regarding the Geospatial/GIS meetup on the 20th: things may change, but as of now I plan to host the meeting as scheduled. It'll be completely understandable if many/most/all end up not attending. No presentation is scheduled; this meetup can be an opportunity for sharing announcements and getting better acquainted with others in our geospatial community.

Development/University Advancement is "working on strengthening our relationship w/ Esri employees who are UCR alumni and parents and connecting them with students."
