The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of
Tennessee seeks a post-doctoral research associate to study biological
invasions and invasion science. This is a full-time, endowment-funded
position with 1 year of support, renewable up to 2 years, start date April
30, or to be negotiated. The associate will conduct literature searches and
reviews, network analyses, and quantitative syntheses of aspects of
invasion science. In close collaboration, the associate will write
manuscripts, and the associate will also have the opportunity to develop
independent related research projects. It may be possible to work remotely
part of the time. Post-doctoral associates at the University of Tennessee
have a competitive salary depending on years of experience and standard
benefit package (health insurance, savings, etc.) as a university employee.
Qualifications:
A PhD in ecology, evolution, or a related field. PhD candidates who have
successfully defended their dissertation are also eligible to apply. Degree
confirmation required prior to starting this position.
