The Entomology Department at The Ohio State University is seeking
applicants for a position of Assistant Professor in Urban Entomology. This
position is part of a cohort hire between other units in the College of
Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences that will focus on urban
health and environmental problems that are differentially experienced by
urban residents because of racial and/or socioeconomic inequities. We are
particularly interested in applicants whose research focuses the ecology
of urban insects and/or how insects and other arthropods respond to
the evolutionary pressures that urbanization imposes. We also strongly
encourage applicants from diverse and under-represented backgrounds
to apply.
