[Englecturers] Ordering Books

Post-six-year Lecturers can of course order their own books.  This is a 
long-standing departmental policy.  I did not wish to imply anything about 
such a change in policy.  I strongly support the departmental policy, as 
well as the legislative procedure that makes it inappropriate for any 
individual director to change such a policy without a departmental vote.
