[Englecturers] call for papers

The annual conference of the Southwest Popular Culture 
Association will be held Feb. 8-11, 2006 at the Hyatt Hotel 
in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I am now accepting proposals in the area of Mystery/detective 
fiction.  Listed below are some suggestions for possible 
panels, but presentations on topics not listed here are also 
welcome.
     Film adaptations
     Matters of gender
     Matters of ethnicity
     Geography/locale
     Classic mysteries
     Hard-boiled detectives
     Individual authors
     True crime
     And much more ...
