OPEN CALL FOR UCR DEPARTMENT OF  THEATRE 
TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP   
FALL QUARTER 2010



The Department of Theatre is currently accepting  applications for (3) 50% 
teaching assistants for Fall 2010. Successful  applicants will be a UCR MFA 
Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing  Arts student.  
THEATRE LECTURER  COURSES REQUIRING A TEACHING ASSISTANT:  
THEA 010,  001: Lecture Monday/Wednesday  from 8:40 a.m. – 10 a.m. 
Discussion sections:  Fridays from 10:10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 
THEA 010,  002: Lecture Tuesday/Thursday  from 5:10 – 6:30 p.m. 
Discussion sections:  Fridays from 1:10 – 4:00 p.m. 
THEA 066,  001: Lecture Tuesday/Thursday  from 3:40 – 5:00 p.m. 
Screening: Thursday from  5:10 – 8 p.m. 
Discussion sections:  Fridays from 1:10 – 4:00 p.m. 
HOW TO  APPLY: To be eligible, you  must currently be an enrolled second 
year or third year graduate student. Your  application will consist of a Cover 
Letter and CV, and must be received by  Monday, August 9, at Noon.  
Successful applicants will be notified by email  by Friday, August 13. Please 
clearly state the course number you are applying  for in the Subject line of your 
email.
