[CITL] Notice of Planned Downtime for SSO Services on January 25 and 26, 2025

Fellow CITL Member,
I am reaching out to inform you of a planned data center maintenance event
taking place from 6 AM on January 25, 2025, until 6 PM on January 26, 2025.
Due to the nature of the maintenance, all LAX-3 data center services will
be powered down and unavailable to campus users and reliant systems, which
may include SOM data center services. ITS is taking every step possible to
ensure that SSO services remain operational during the planned maintenance
window. However, you should be advised that most ITS-managed services will
be inaccessible if SSO services are disrupted. We hope to share an update
on anticipated SSO impact next week.
While it is possible most ITS-managed services will be unavailable during
the planned maintenance window, ITS does not anticipate service disruptions
outside this timeframe. In the event you experience a service disruption
outside of the scheduled maintenance window, please report it.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please refer to
techalerts.ucr.edu for the status of this maintenance event. If you have
any questions, please let me know.
