CITL Colleagues,
I am reaching out to inform you of a planned network maintenance event,
scheduled to take place from 6 AM on Saturday, May 3, until 7 PM on Sunday,
May 4.
Due to the nature of the maintenance, most ITS-managed services will be
unavailable during the planned maintenance window. As a result, campus
users should expect to be unable to access campus services during this
timeframe.
Please note:
-
Single-sign on (SSO) services should not be affected by this maintenance.
-
While most ITS-managed services will be unavailable during the planned
maintenance window, ITS does not anticipate service disruptions outside of
this timeframe. In the event you experience a service disruption outside of
the scheduled maintenance window, please report it.
-
Due to the critical nature of the required maintenance and the strategic
coordination needed to support it, the scheduled timeframe for this event
cannot be changed. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate exceptions
or requests to reschedule.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please refer to
techalerts.ucr.edu for the status of this maintenance event. If you have
any questions or concerns about the impact on your service(s), please let
me know.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
Sincerely,
Sheri Morgan
Associate Director of Network Engineering and Operations
Information Technology Solutions
University of California, Riverside
