Please be reminded that IP addresses used as either DNS forwarders or
resolvers must be updated prior to the campus IT DNS change taking place on
Sunday, January 31, 2021. Please see the original email below for complete
information.

Subject: Action Required: Upcoming DNS Change

 

Dear CITL Members, 

Please be advised of an upcoming change to the campus DNS servers, going
into effect on Sunday, January 31, 2021.   

Using the information below, campus partners who use the campus IT DNS
servers are asked to update IP addresses that are used as either DNS
forwarders or resolvers: 

PRIMARY
OLD: 138.23.201.101
NEW: 138.23.62.34

SECONDARY
OLD: 138.23.146.213 
NEW: 169.235.156.110

This planned change is required to replace outdated infrastructure. Campus
partners will need to make the above changes before the old infrastructure
is decommissioned, which is scheduled to take place on January 31, 2021. If
IP addresses are not updated before the deadline DNS requests could fail to
resolve to campus resources.
