[CITL] Action Required: Upcoming DNS Change

Dear CITL Members, 

In an effort to provide folks more time to update IP addresses used as
either DNS forwarders or resolvers the campus IT DNS change was postponed
until February 4, 2021. 

This is a reminder to update all IP addresses before 5:00 PM tomorrow,
February 4. If IP addresses are not updated before the deadline DNS requests
could fail to resolve to campus resources.

Dear CITL Members, 

Please be advised of an upcoming change to the campus DNS servers, going
into effect on Sunday, January 31, 2021 Thursday, February 4, 2021.   

Using the information below, campus partners who use the campus IT DNS
servers are asked to update IP addresses that are used as either DNS
forwarders or resolvers: 

PRIMARY
OLD: 138.23.201.101
NEW: 138.23.62.34

SECONDARY
OLD: 138.23.146.213 
NEW: 169.235.156.110

This planned change is required to replace outdated infrastructure. Campus
partners will need to make the above changes before the old infrastructure
is decommissioned, which is scheduled to take place on January 31, 2021. If
IP addresses are not updated before the deadline DNS requests could fail to
resolve to campus resources.
