Subject: Vhost Migration follow up

Hi All,

This email is our monthly follow up and check-in regarding the vhost Service: User Acceptance Testing initiated on April 30, 2021. Thank you to those who have continued to test, remediate, and reach out for website support as needed. Please continue to log any issues on the UAT Issue Tracking Document<https://o365ucr.sharepoint.com/:x:/t/DrupalWebAdvisoryGroup/ER31UR3K7aJAsKaiqSMSm_oBMiEFnHFQcuWhTN3odK_AxA?e=qjh2P8> so that our team can investigate, troubleshoot, and assist where possible. A few reminders:

  * All remediation guidance and documentation can be found in the [cid:65f524a8-ecab-478a-9c5b-f238cdb8d474] Web Advisory Group SharePoint<https://o365ucr.sharepoint.com/:f:/t/DrupalWebAdvisoryGroup/EllqM3UgYVxEgyvp6y2t6I4BZhfR2lMXjBybq7CWuQ779w?e=hd3zbs>
  * Any content changes made to the current production site must be replicated in the staging environment as the staging environment will become the new production instance during go-live

     * Clients who have tested their staging site can opt to cutover to the AWS environment early, ahead of the August go-live. To do this, please Request a Systems Service<https://ucrsupport.service-now.com/ucr_portal/?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=1ee50eb10f5a0300138942bce1050e5f> and indicate your site(s) URL and preferred date of cutover.

        * Thank you to those who have opted to take this action – as of today, over half of the service’s websites have already been migrated to AWS or purged thanks to your collaborative efforts therefore reducing our overall risk during the cutover event!

     * To view a list of vhost sites and their staging aliases, please see https://vhostsites.ucr.edu<https://vhostsites.ucr.edu/>

Lastly, see below for updated Key Project Dates, including the confirmed service cutover/migration date:

04/30/2021

08/30/2021 (confirmed)
