Immigrant Awareness Week, PODER's annual workshop series, is happening this week! Please invite your class/students.

Since Immigrant Awareness Week will be happening virtually via Zoom, participants can register for the workshops using the following links, tinyurl.com/728ugr2y<http://tinyurl.com/728ugr2y> (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and tinyurl.com/YXKW46BR<http://tinyurl.com/YXKW46BR> (Wednesday).Below are the workshops we will be hosting this year along with a short description.

Immigration Policy Update - Tuesday, February 16th, 2pm - 3:30pm
Come learn about the new and developing federal immigration policies such as TPS, DED, DACA, etc. This workshop will be facilitated by UCR's Immigration Attorney Alfonso Maldonado. Register here<http://tinyurl.com/728ugr2y>.

Black & Undocumented: Understanding the Intersectionality - Wednesday, February 17th, 3pm - 4pm
Join Felecia Russel, a Black DACA recipent and founder of Embracing Undocumented, in a workshop centered around the intersectionality of two marginalized identities and in honoring the diveristy of the immigrant experience. Register here<http://tinyurl.com/YXKW46BR>.

Living Intersectionally: UndocuQueer as an Identity - Thursday, February 18th, 3pm - 4pm
A workshop with an overview of UndocuQueer history, experiences, and ally principles. This workshop consists of two parts, an open session for community members and a closed session for those who identify as UndocuQueer. Register here<http://tinyurl.com/728ugr2y>.

Coming out of the Shadows - Friday, February 19th, 2pm - 3pm
