Hello colleagues,
This upcoming Winter quarter I will be teaching ENTM 242: Research
Hypothesis and Design (aka, "the grant writing course"). The course is
offered MW 12-2pm with discussion on Friday 12-2pm (this will be a writing
consultation period).
A draft syllabus is attached detailing the schedule of activities and
expected benefits for your training. This course is a great experience for
mid to later stage grad students who have collected sufficient preliminary
data to produce a competitive proposal. The course can be taken by any grad
student in STEM seeking experience applying to federal grant agencies
(e.g., USDA, NSF, NIH, EPA).
Please email me with any questions (kerry.mauck at ucr.edu)
Best,
Kerry
