The Office of Technology Partnerships is excited to host our next UC Riverside "University - Industry Engagement & Sustainability Research Series featuring Boehringer-Ingleheim on Wednesday February 8th, 2023. The event take place 12:00noon - 1:00pm, and will be available virtually via Zoom.

The Speaker Series was created to expose faculty to consider avenues of engagement with industry.
The goal is for faculty to understand how a particular company collaborates with universities, research opportunities for faculty, opportunities to increase career opportunities for students, and internship programs. We are also interested to learn what is important to industry from a sustainability standpoint, particularly in relation to UCR's OASIS Initiative. The OASIS project is based on six pillars addressing regional challenges: Sustainable Transportation & Infrastructure, Renewable Energy and Fuels, Agriculture Technology and Food Security, Natural Resource Management, Community Health and Health Disparity, and Human Development.
What are trends in corporate sustainability? What is industry investing in academia in terms of sustainability?
