[WFA] Two WFA* items (upcoming election and steering committee)

Dear WFA* Constituents,

We hope you are all doing well and remaining safe. We are writing on two
matters.  First, we want to urge you to vote in the election for senate
vice chair with a deadline of tomorrow, April 9th.  We note that one of our
constituents, Amanda Lucia is running.

Second, toward the health and efficacy of our organization, we are
proposing forming a steering committee.  Please nominate or self-nominate

The steering committee will advise on priorities for the WFA, the formal
renaming of the organization to reflect gender diversity and inclusion, and
so on. The steering committee will meet no more than once a quarter.

Do not nominate someone that has not agreed to be nominated.  Sometime next
year we propose moving to a model in which our leadership is elected.
