Hello Wellness Program Participants!
     For Diabetes Awareness Month, Health Net is hosting a free workshop on Diabetes scheduled for Wednesday, November 16th from 12:00 pm to 12:45pm. The workshop is free to members and non-members. The instructor will provide information on signs and symptoms of diabetes, prevention strategies, and strategies to manage diabetes. Diabetes affects 37.3 million people or 11.3% of the population in the United States1. Topics covered in this webinar: what is diabetes, prevention strategies, signs and symptoms, the goals of diabetes control with lifestyle, medications, and monitoring. This class will be taught by a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
