Dear Colleagues,

 

Risk Management and the Highlander Union present UC/Campus Connexions Insurance Programs Workshop on April 19, 2011.  The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview of the insurance programs available through Campus Connexions.  

 

We will discuss: Tenant Users Liability Insurance Protection (TULIP); Registered or Recognized Student Organizations Event Liability Policy; Recreation Department Recognized Club Sports Event Liability Policy; Recognized Club Sports Camps and Clinics Event Liability Policy; and, Foundations, Alumni, and Support Groups Policies. We will cover special circumstances, such as Liquor Liability Insurance for an event.   You will learn how web-based applications, quotes and payment can be easily prepared online with resulting Certificates of Insurance sent to the applicant's email address. A demonstration of the Campus Connexions website will be included in the presentation. 

 

If you (or your staff) are involved in event management with outside parties, student organizations, club sports, sport camps/clinics, or foundation/alumni, this workshop would be very beneficial and useful to you. Campus Connexions allows you to handle the insurance side of your events with ease and efficiency. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you know that may also benefit from this workshop.  We will have two workshop sessions to choose from.  The morning session will be from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.  The afternoon session will be from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.  Please RSVP the number of attendees to us by Tuesday, March 29th to reserve your seats. Information regarding the location for the workshop is forthcoming.
