[Vcsa-announcements] Oracle Calendar Upgrades

Dear all,

 

The Oracle calendar system is exhibiting some intermittent slowness as more people are added and more activity takes place on the server.  C&C will be addressing this issue over the last weekend of September by installing a new, faster server and re-indexing the database.  Both of these actions are expected to improve performance of the calendar system.

 

If you have any Oracle calendar issues after Monday Sept 28th, please input a work order to VCSA Technology Services at http://help.ucr.edu so we can compile any problems and forward these to C&C for you.
